arrive into Scotland, our coach will meet you at airport and transfer
you all to Stirling, where we will have time to visit the castle
making sure you see the Cunningham Window! Followed by the Bruce
and Wallace monuments, before heading to the hotel in Kilmarnock.
Tuesday 21 July Today you will visit the Old Kirk
is the historic parish church of the village of Kilmacolm. This
is on your route to Finlaystone House, where you also visit. Your
guide will be David Pickens. Overnight Kilmarnock.
Wednesday 22 July visits today will include Kerelaw
Castle near Stevenson, Caprington castle with a Burns tour in
the afternoon if time, also a visit to Ochiltree en route back
to Kilmarnock. Overnight Kilmarnock.
Thursday 23 July The final day in Ayrshire, as we
visit St. Maurs-Glencairn Church, Glencairn and the Isle there.
Spend some time in and around Kilmars before returning to the
hotel in Kilmarnock.
EDINBURGH tour starts
Friday 24 July this morning we transfer to Edinburgh.
The coach will depart from the tour from here. Free time all day.
Overnight Edinburgh.
Saturday 25 July one of the event days for the 2009
gathering. Main features will be the events at Holyrood Park and
the evening at the castle. Free time all day for the events. Overnight
Edinburgh.
Sunday 26 July totally free day in Edinburgh, overnight
Edinburgh.
Monday 27 July homeward bound.
